The Knights’ new Cor initiative – “Cor” meaning “heart” in Latin – is growing rapidly as a nationwide program to strengthen the faith of Catholic men. Launched by Supreme Knight Kelly in 2023, Cor is designed “to form and strengthen Catholic men in faith and virtue as missionary disciples by drawing them into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ through prayer, formation and fraternity”catholicspirit.com. More than 5,500 councils have already started Cor prayer groups (a 68% increase in participation over the past year)catholicspirit.com. A typical Cor meeting (60–90 minutes) might include Bible reflection (“Men of the Word”), studying St. Joseph’s example (“Patris Corde”), recitation of the Rosary or a Holy Hour, and discussing the Into the Breach video series produced by the Knightscatholicspirit.com.
