On behalf of the Divine Mercy House, Managing Director, Amy Woodward, received a check for $10,000 from the Knights of Columbus Council #10850 represented by Worthy District Deputy John Hashtak and Worthy Grand Knight Steve Roadruck. It should be noted that the Divine Mercy House is undergoing needed repairs from the roof down. The knights have also spent numerous volunteer hours for its repair. Through the Knights of Columbus Supreme Council’s ASAP (Aid and Support After Pregnancy) program we hope to add $2,000 more to this donation.
“Divine Mercy House provides a Christian home to single women facing unexpected pregnancies. It provides a loving and nurturing environment to meet the physical, spiritual, emotional, and educational needs of each mother and child.” (Divine Mercy House brochure).
